Cannabis Users Are Safer Drivers – Put That In Your Pipe and Smoke It
May 14th
I remember reading just last week about how David Cameron plans to bring in tougher laws surrounding ‘drug-driving’ after a girl was killed by a driver that was high on cannabis.
The Sun reported on 8th May 2012: THE parents of a girl killed by a driver high on cannabis yesterday backed David Cameron’s clampdown on drug-driving. Gary and Natasha Groves said the laws are a “fitting legacy” for daughter Lillian.
Other excerpts from the article inclue:
“Offenders will face longer jail terms and huge fines.”
“Gary and Natasha welcomed the news — and called for “zero tolerance” of drug-drivers.”
This is an example of political correctness blown way out of proportion once again, and a clear example of where Britain needs to check its facts and do some studies of its own before passing new legislation. Whilst my sincere condolences go out to the parents of Lilian who was killed by a driver back in 2010, I do not believe that one event such as this should shape future laws on the matter. My thoughts are backed up by an article from Toke of The Town which I have posted below.

Dutch Weed Pass Causing Problems in Holland
May 13th
I just came across an article posted 4 days ago that states that problems are being caused in The Netherlands resulting from the introduction of the ‘weed pass’ earlier this month in the south of the country. The laws changed on the 1st May, meaning that only Dutch residents who have registered with a coffeeshop are allowed to buy cannabis in coffeeshops. Everybody else is barred.
Many coffeeshop owners in Maastricht and other Dutch cities in the south have closed their doors in protest, and Dutch residents without a weed pass and drug tourists are now heading further North, causing problems for coffeeshops in the weed pass border zone.
Now cities affected by the new weed pass legislation are seeing a growing number of drug dealers outside or near coffeeshops selling cannabis (and quite possibly harder drugs), and also harassing local residents and tourists alike. Apparently the Dutch police are keeping a check on the situation, but people are worried that this is bad news for Holland and many are afraid.
However in contrast to this Maastricht’s mayor has stated that they are seeing some positive effects from the weed pass. He stated that people “can now park their cars in front of More >
Super High Sunday

It’s the last day of the Football season, and there are about ten games happening simultaneously which determine where most teams will finish in the Premier league. What better way can you think of to sit down and watch your match of choice than with a nice bifta?
Here at ISMOKE we are smoking some White Rhino that we were fortunate to receive straight from a grower. Leave a comment below to let us know what you’re smoking at the moment!
Enjoy your Sunday stoners…
About ISMOKE Magazine
May 12th
ISMOKE Magazine is great for the cannabis movement, as it gives writers a voice to express their views on cannabis and the current system on a platform that will be read by thousands of people. I created it for just that reason – to raise awareness and further the cannabis campaign in a time when I truly believe we have a good chance of changing people’s perspectives on cannabis. We now have this opportunity due to many factors, for example a general relaxation on Cannabis laws in Western world (sadly Britain cannot yet be included) and emerging scientific evidence that shows the old theories about cannabis up for what they are – propaganda and nonsense.
I also designed ISMOKE Magazine to be relevant whenever you read it, meaning that if you haven’t read the first couple of issues you should give them a read when you get the chance. Of course the stories in the ISMOKE News section may have developed, but the articles/features/strain reviews will remain timeless as long as the laws on cannabis remain the same in the UK.
I welcome new writers onto the ISMOKE team, and each issue you will see new articles from people with a passion for cannabis More >

ISMOKE Magazine is Getting an Upgrade
May 7th
In the very near future ISMOKE Magazine will be transforming into a fully online resource.
What this means is that there are going to be various featured authors submitting articles which will be updated frequently over at www.ismokemag.co.uk rather than being released monthly in pdf format. This will make ISMOKE Magazine fully searchable and much more user friendly.
Over the few weeks after launch all of the articles from previous issues of ISMOKE Magazine will be published online, alongside new content to wet your tastebuds.
Of course the old version of the site will remain online so you can still go back and read/download all 12 previous issues of ISMOKE Magazine
I can’t divulge the template or too much info right now, but we are pretty excited about it, and hope that you are too. Now ISMOKE will be fully up to date with the cannabis campaign.
So who wants to write for the new and re-vamped ISMOKE Magazine launching very soon? ISMOKE is looking for new featured authors. Got something to say? Have your opinions heard in The Voice for Cannabis Users Nationwide.

Snoop Dogg Invites Welsh Farmer Ian Neale Backstage for Advice After Growing World’s Largest Swede
May 6th
Ok so this isn’t the newest video on the web, but its worth a post. Snoop Dogg shouted out Welsh farmer Ian Neale on youtube and asked him to come backstage to meet him when he grew the world’s largest swede. The video below is the Sky News report on the event, in which Ian Neale says on live news that he smoked weed with Snoop Dogg the previous evening.
There is little doubt as to why Snoop Dogg recognised Ian’s horticultural talents from the news report, primarily due to the large photograph of cannabis plants tiled on a screen behind him in his youtube video.
Simply Brilliant.

If you are avoiding sugar but still crave a sweet treat, these chewy cookies will hit the spot.
Ingredients: • 1 cup marijuana butter (at room temperature) • 21/2 cups honey • 5 eggs • 21/2 cups flour • 2 teaspoons salt • 11/4 teaspoons baking soda • 71/2 cups quick oats • 1 cup of any of the following ingredients: chopped dates, figs, apples, carrots, raisins, currants, chocolate chips, nuts and seeds
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C. Bake 5 at a time, 10–12 minutes per batch.
Yield: 5 dozen cookies, each with less than 1 teaspoon butter = medium dose.
Instructions: Spray baking sheets with nonstick spray. Blend the marijuana butter, honey and egg thoroughly. Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix well. Rihanna Smokes Cannabis at Coachella 2012
Apr 21st
Pictures have emerged from Coachella 2012 which show Rihanna smoking on a Giant Blunt!
Source: Sick Chirpse
I have much appreciation for Rihanna after seeing these pictures of her getting baked with Snoop!
For those of you that missed it, Coachella 2012 featured a concert by the likes of Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent & G-Unit, Wiz Khalifa, Eminem and Tupac Shakur (as a hologram – amazing). As it’s in California there are a lot of cannabis references, and aside from being amazing due to the acts, the stoner references and seeing Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa perform songs whilst toking on a blunt the size of my face make this a must see for stoners! See the full concert and the Tupac excerpt below:
